Laurens County has turned to exceptional drought.

Lane Closure, Resurfacing Scheduled in Twiggs County

Lane Closure, Resurfacing Scheduled in Twiggs County

 

SR 19 is scheduled for resurfacing from Monday, Jan. 9 through Friday, Jan. 13.

The resurfacing takes place on SR 19 southbound between Prospect Church Road and the Wilkinson County line.

Expect a single lane closure for the continued resurfacing of SR 19.

Delays are expected.

This project is resurfacing 9.340 miles of SR 19 beginning at SR 18 in Twiggs County and continues to the Wilkinson County line.

Tornado Warning for Laurens County

Tornado warning for Laurens and Johnson counties until 5:30 p.m.

 

People in the path of the storm should move indoors, to the basement or the center of the house, and stay away from windows.
