Reminder: 1st Annual Moore Station Village Car Show

The antique car show at Moore Station Village will take place May 21 and benefit Habitat for Humanity.

Moore Station Village is located at 100 Old Field Lane in Dublin.

There will be music, food and door prizes.

36th Annual Industry & Business Appreciation Day

The Golf Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, May 26 at the Dublin Country Club. 

Registration begins at noon.

The bowling tournament begins at 2 p.m. at Shamrock Bowling Center.

The social dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. at the Dublin Country Club.

Summer Activities for the Kids: Camps, Classes and Water Fun!

As school draws to a close for the school year, kids and adults can look forward to summer activities.

Kids can attend arts and sports camps in June and July. 

There will be ongoing movies for kids at Dublin Theatre.

Visit with a Veteran Car, Truck and Bike Show This Weekend

The Third Annual “Visit With a Veteran” Car, Truck & Bike Show will take place Saturday, May 14 at  Carl Vinson VA Medical Center.

The event is set from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M.

Individuals entering a car, truck or bike can register from 9 a.m to noon. The registration fee is $20.

There will be Top 20 Trophies, Best of Show and  Popular Vote by Residents of the VA Medical Center.

All cars, hot rods, trucks, specialty vehicles and bikes are welcome.

Proceeds will be donated to the VA Residents’ Recreation Therapy Fund. The fund provides recreational opportunities to Veterans in the hospital. It helps to cover the cost of program expenses such as the annual Super Bowl party; cook-outs as well as purchasing regularly needed supplies. The fund will also help send participants to the yearly National Veterans Wheelchair Games and National Veterans Golden Age Games.

Mother's Day Second Sunday Brunch

Dublin's E.G. Kight will perform at College Hill's Second Sunday Brunch in Macon this weekend. 

The event is scheduled for Mother's Day Sunday, from 1-3 p.m. in Washington Park.

Admission is free, and families can pack picnics or buy a boxed lunch on site.
