Lady Royals preparing for 2011 softball season

The Lady Royals softball team has been busy preparing for the 2011 season.  Bleckley is coming off its best finish since moving to fastpitch when they advanced to the sweet 16 in 2010.  This year's team will be different as there's a new head coach in Janice Bryan and three starters gone due to graduation.  BCHS has been playing in scrimmage tournaments.  It gives players practice time against someone besides their teammates and allows Bryan and assistant coach Teresa Long an opportunity to evaluate talent.
