OFTC Hosts Baker Distributing Co. Seminar | Schools

DUBLIN, GA – The Air Conditioning Technology program at Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) hosted a seminar on (DATE) about heat pump diagnostics for local businesses in the Dublin area and OFTC students in the air conditioning technology programs.
Jack Morgan, the area technical director for Baker Distributing Company in Milledgeville, Georgia, presented the seminar and talked about the ever-changing industry and recent changes in heat pumps. He also explained the reasons behind current diagnostics procedures.
“The heating and cooling industry changes almost daily,” said Kevin Livingston, OFTC Division Chair and Air Conditioning Technology Instructor. “With seminars like this, we are able to learn from local companies what these new changes are so that our program graduates are ready to be a productive employee once they enter the workforce.”
Local companies in attendance were Allen’s Plumbing and Heating, Hatcher Heating and Cooling, Lauren County Board of Education Maintenance Department, and Pruett Air Conditioning Company.
