OFTC Foundation-South, Inc. Holds Annual Meeting | Schools
The OFTC Foundation-South, Inc. held its annual meeting at Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s (OFTC) South Campus in Dublin on July 15, 2013, approving the program of work, the meeting schedule, and budget for the upcoming year.
Phil Patel and Spencer Tydings, out-going trustees, were recognized for their service on the foundation’s board and for the College. Grace Adams-Square of Macon, Eric Haskins of Dublin, and Brett Manning of Dublin, were welcomed as new trustees.
Outgoing president Ted Pooler passed the gavel to Roger Miller who will serve as president for a two-year term. Other officers are Chris Kersey, vice president; Betty McCoy, secretary; and Frank Seaton, interim treasurer.
The Foundation’s mission is to secure and provide resources to promote lifelong learning and workforce development by strengthening the relationship between OFTC and the community. The Foundation supports initiatives such as the Lending Library, the TOOLS Program, scholarships, and other projects, all to benefit students at OFTC’s South Campus.
