Laurens Co. Majority Vote for Romney | Politics

Sixty-one percent of Laurens County voted for Mitt Romney in the presidential race.

Thirty-eight percent of the Laurens County vote went to Barack Obama.

That was 11,947 votes for Romney, and 7,508 votes for Obama. 

One percent, 136 votes, of Laurens Countian voters selected the third party candidate Gary Johnson on their ballots.

Nationwide, Mitt Romney had 2,054,373 votes, but 206 electoral votes. Obama won the reelection wtih 303 electoral votes.
