Funeral Services for Mrs. Stephanie R. Thomas, 39 will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 1PM at Dublin High School Auditorium. Rev. Elgin Dixon will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. 

Mrs. Thomas passed away on October 19, 2011. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ola Palmer, Christine Palmer, Elizabeth Salter, Vonnie Hayward, Curtis L. Salter; father-in-law, Robert E. Thomas, Sr.; uncles, Alton and Midas Salter, Carlton Cummings and brother-in-law, Roderick T. Thomas. 

Mrs. Thomas attended and graduated from East Laurens High School. She was also a graduate of Middle Georgia College where she received her Bachelors Degree; she received her Masters at Troy State and Specialist Degree from Nova Southeastern College. Stephanie taught at Tennille Elementary and was presently a teacher at Susie Dasher Elementary and Brewton Parker College. 

Mrs. Thomas is survived by a devoted husband, Robert E. Thomas, Jr.; son, Robert E. Thomas, III; two daughters, Miyah D. Thomas, and Teyah S. Thomas; mother, Bernestine Eagle (Willis Walker), Dublin; father, Emmet Salter (Helen) of Kite, Cedric Eagle; mother-in-law, Shirley E. Thomas; aunts, Ola Mae Wright, Eva Mae Allen, Cornealus (James) Butts, Mary Oglessby, Linda D. Barnett, Wilma Jean Hayward, Bessie (Eclemus) Brown, Lessie (Henry) Williams all of Dubin; uncles, A.B. (Jennie Mae) Salter, Frank Wright, Michael (Johnnie) Salter, Willie Palmer, Curtis (Lorraine) Wright all of Dublin, and Garrad Hayward, Macon; sister, Gail (James) Vickers, Dublin; brother, Timothy (Pamela) Travett, Augusta; grandmother, Melernease Hayward, Dublin; devoted cousins, Tracey Edmond, Carol Wright, Sonja Brown; godbrother, Martavious Brantley and a host of other loyal family and friends. 

Visitation will be held at the family residence, 1011 Maid Marion Lane, Dublin.
