Gov. Deal Calls for Teen Driving Commission
Georgia Governor Nathan Deal is calling on students ages 15-19 to put the brakes on distracted driving.
Students can apply to join the Teen Driving Commission by writing a 500 word essay, submitting a driving record, and a consent form. The application is due by September 20th.
The 15-20 teens chosen will help the Governor's office and public safety agencies brainstorm new ways to teach people about the dangers of texting and driving.
