CLUB 604 Hosts Monster Mash Bash Halloween Party

Club 604 will host their annual Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26th from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. at 604 Academy Avenue in Dublin. Featuring the live musical talents of The Master Blasters, guests will also be treated to a frighfully delicious buffet by Executive Chef James Barwick.

Dance the Monster Mash, scare up delight during the costume contest, and dare yourself with a full round of games and prizes. Tickets are $25 each for members and $35 for guests, and can be purchased by calling Kristina Fountain of CLUB 604 at 478- 272-6048.

"Walk Among the Shadows" Tour Brings Dublin's Old City Cemetery to Life

A performance of "Walk Among The Shadows,” Dublin's living history tours of the Old City Cemetery, will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013, 4pm - 6pm in the Old City Cemetery located at 305 ½ W. Gaines Street in downtown Dublin. Designed to raise awareness of the historical value of the cemetery, "Walk Among the Shadows" shares Dublin's history using actors in period attire, increases tourism, and focuses on beautifying downtown.

Each tour lasts one hour, with tour times scheduled for 4 p.m., 4:20 p.m., 4:40 p.m., and 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and can be purchased by calling 478-277-5074 or visiting Theatre Dublin’s box office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Courier Herald and The Relish Cooking Show have partnered to bring Relish, the nation's largest food magazine, to life in Dublin on Thursday, October 3rd at the Dublin High School Auditorium. The two-hour cooking show takes you into the Relish kitchen for cooking techniques that will help you get dinner on the table with ease. Learn how to sauté, dredge, toss, fold and whip with Executive Chef Brian Morris who will teach you how to cook with confidence, while bringing a sense of humor to the table. Morris, who has cooked for the likes of Keith Urban and Derek Jeter, brings a TV-style atmosphere to life. 

Doors open at 3:45 p.m. with vendors displaying hot, new products and the show starts at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are available by calling 478-272-5522, and include a gift bag sure to please the most discerning palate.
