The Dublin-Laurens Chamber of Commerce hosts the workshop May 21 at 8 a.m.

Disabled Treutlen man gets probation in pot case

A disabled Treutlen County man was sentenced Wednesday to seven years probation and a $1,500 fine for growing what he said was "medical" marijuana outside of his home.

Terry Altier was sentenced before a judge in Treutlen County Superior Court.

That came after lawyers argued his case for more than an hour.
