Dublin-441 Speedway will host the first annual "Border Wars" between the Florida and Georgia Mini Sprints Sat. night Aug. 25th. In addition a "Border War" between Tennille, Ga. driver Jeffery Yates and Dublin driver Emory Poole in the Bomber Division, as the they are only eight points difference, in determining the track champion for 2012.
With the final points race this Sat. in the Road Warrior Division Graham Stevenson and Jacob Simpson both of Laurens County are only two points difference.
This will be another historical race at 441 as track champions with at least three drivers whom have never won a championship, stated Speedway Owner Justin McCorkel.
Gates open at 5;00 p.m. with racing at 8:00 p.m. Admission is $12.00-adults, & $5.00-children in grandstands, $25.00-adults, & $10.00-children in pits. The 3/8 mile dirt oval is located 6 miles South of I-16 on U. S. 441. For more information log onto: www.441speedway.com
