That first game is on August 31, with kickoff at 8 p.m.

The JV football team also kicks off against Dodge Countyk, but at home on September 6 at 5 p.m..

He'll Saturday night, Aug. 10th at the 441 Speedway in Dublin, Ga.  along with a host of other drivers from Ala., Ga., S. C. & Florida.  Also, Crate Late models, bombers, and pure stocks in a $15,000 purse!

Treat Yourself and the Children's Miracle Network

When you treat yourself to a Dairy Queen blizzard this Thursday, you're also treating the Children's Miracle Network.

Thursday marks Miracle Treat Day, a day where at least a dollar from every blizzard will go to Children's Miracle Network, according to a release.

Last year nationwide and in Canada, the fundraiser brought almost $5 million to Children's Miracle Network hospitals.

The Children's Hospital of the Medical Center of Central Georgia is a member of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

What a feat?  What a tremendous feat?  And I don’t just mean the award.

On June 24, 2013, Dublin City Councilperson of over 20 years, Ms. Julie Driger, was in for a huge surprise.  And she had no idea how many friends, family members, and co-workers were in on the secret, or how long they had kept it from her.

The Georgia Municipal Association meets annually the last weekend in June for their convention.  This year’s event was held in Savannah and as Ms. Driger prepared for the meetings, trainings, and general sharing between the 519 member cities, she was not aware she would be a star of the show.  For on June 24th, Ms. Driger was honored by being inducted into the Municipal Hall of Fame; and her family, her friends, and her co-workers were all on hand for the experience...
