Vendor Applications Accepted for 2014 St. Patrick’s Arts & Crafts Festival

Vendor applications are now being accepted for the 2014 St. Patrick’s Arts and Crafts Festival scheduled for Super Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Bicentennial Plaza and Market on Madison in downtown Dublin from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. A combined effort between the City of Dublin and the Festival Committee, with the additional support of Dublin-Laurens Tourism Council and Dublin Downtown Development Authority, led to this exciting change in venue. With all the additional support, the Festival Committee is looking forward to the biggest and best St. Patrick’s Arts and Crafts Festival ever.

Your beautifully decorated Christmas tree can also be a deadly fire hazard.

Christmas tree fires are infrequent, but when they do occur, they are serious, according to the National Fire Protection Association.

Fire departments responded to an average of 230 home fires caused by Christmas trees each year from 2007-2011. The result was a yearly average of six deaths, 22 injuries and $18.3 million in property damage, the NFPA reported.
