Spring Fever! It’s here and it’s contagious….

Spring Fever! It’s here and it’s contagious….

The daffodils are beginning to bloom, the garden centers are prominently displaying gerber daisies – you all know what day is near and it’s NOT hump day.  On the contrary, we all likely have the same fever, spring fever that is.

This year’s first day of spring falls on March 20th, right smack in the middle of our month long St. Patrick’s Festival, so you cannot NOT find something fun to do in your own town of Dublin, Georgia.  With the Festival officially beginning a few days back, you may have missed the kite flying day on Springdale but some of our biggest events are yet to take place.

Many risk factors are involved with CVD, some are controllable while others are not. Because of genetics and family history, even race and ethnicity, we are not affected by CVD the same. Geography plays a part in the healthy or risky lifestyles that are encouraged or accepted in our surroundings. That said, controlling the risk factors we can, makes a huge difference and positive impact on our lives.

A few pointers on getting yourself on track with your health and keeping yourself on the right path.
