OCMA Kidz participated in the MLK Jr. parade in Dublin on Saturday with signs that said things like "Sometimes we need guidance, not discipline" and "We are the future."

After the parade the OCMA Kidz attended an International  Youth Leadership Conference “We Are The World”. There were presenters from Law, Economics and Social Activist Youth(L.E.S.A. Youth), SCLC and Dublin Laurens County Black Festival Committee and First African Baptist Church.

According to OCMA, as a teenager Martin Luther King Jr. historically made his first public speech at the First African Baptist Church in Dublin, Ga in 1944 in a contest sponsored by the Black Elks Clubs.

OCMA plans to work closely with (L.E.S.A.) Youth in the future.
