Walmart today is dropping the price of its iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c models to $99 and $29 from $149 and $49. Two-year activation is required for AT&T, Sprint or Verizon and each phone has 16 GB of memory.

The discounts are only available in Walmart stores.

IHOP offering 56¢ pancakes for anniversary

(WXIA) -- In July of 1958, the very first International House of Pancakes opened in Toluca Lake, Calif. Today, IHOP has 1,627 restaurants in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several countries across the globe.

To celebrate its 56th anniversary, the chain will offer its signature buttermilk pancakes for less than they cost in the 1950s.

On Tuesday, July 8 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., IHOP customers can purchase a short stack for only 56¢. The pancakes cost 60¢ when the flagship restaurant opened.

OFTC holds Spring 2014 Commencement Ceremony

DUBLIN, GA - Oconee Fall Technical College (OFTC) held its spring commencement ceremony on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at its South Campus in Dublin for students completing their associate of applied science degree, diploma or technical certificate of credit during the 2014 calendar year.

Two hundred eleven students completed an associated of applied science degree, diploma or technical certificate at OFTC during the 2014 fiscal year and participated in commencement, 90 of which were honor graduates.


Graduates attended classes online or at one OFTC’s campuses in Sandersville, Dublin, Louisville, Helena or Eastman.

Starbucks to raise prices on drinks, bagged coffee

NEW YORK (CBS) - Starbucks is raising prices on some of its drinks by 5 cents to 20 cents starting next week, and customers can also soon expect to pay $1 more for the packaged coffee it sells in supermarkets.

The Seattle-based chain also raised prices on some of the drinks sold in its cafes a year ago. The latest hikes don't seem to be driven purely by the surging bean costs that have pressured other coffee sellers to raise prices, however, since Starbucks has said it already locked in its coffee contracts for the rest of this fiscal year and much of the next.

In March, CEO Howard Schultz said during an interview with Fox Business that Starbucks had no intentions of raising its prices.
